The comeback
After taking a year away from music, Artcha was ready to put the mic down for good. Small features kept pulling him back — and the new album is the result: taking chances musically, lyrically and in what he's willing to talk about.
The first single takes on how politics and government decisions land on people on the ground — written for the young people he teaches and mentors. Elsewhere, there's an honest conversation with God. Every single title spells out part of the album's name, revealed this October alongside a theatrical, musical-style live show.
Words first
Beyond the booth, Artcha is an educator: a former secondary-school English teacher with years in school leadership. He studied film at university, where he was diagnosed with dyslexia at 18 — a moment he says "changed my life". He directs his own music videos.
Artcha Series
Founded in 2021 with co-founder Liselle Joslyn, Artcha Series is a purpose-led clothing brand raising awareness of neurodiversity. Designs, fabrics and colours are inspired by touch and sensory experience, made with organic and remixed cotton.
